Helping you to perform
at your best

Manage your mind and
deliver outstanding performance

Having a brother who is a theatre producer and having played violin and acted for many years growing up, has given me insight into the dynamics and intricacies of the world of performing arts.  Over the past 20 years, I have worked with numerous performers including classical musicians, opera singers, ballerinas, stand-up comedians, actors and singers.

Many of the demands and challenges faced by performing artists are similar to those of elite athletes, meaning that many of the concepts, skills and techniques used by elite athletes also be helpful to performing artists and vice versa.

When you are about to go on stage, are any of the following thoughts familiar?

  • Everyone looks more prepared than me
  • I’m going to forget…
  • I’m going to make a mistake
  • What if they don’t like me or my performance?

No doubt you will have practised and rehearsed for hours, but instead of feeling ready, your mind is filled with the negative thoughts outlined above.   I can help you to understand how your mind works and how you can start to manage it more effectively.

Being mentally ready for auditions, improving your confidence and building resilience are all skills, which fortunately can be learned.  I can help you to develop the skills you need to consistently perform at your best.
